• Bob Messing: Master Electrician

  • Bob started in the trade in 1967 as a ditch digger.

    Since those days, he embraced everything about the Electrical Trade, always striving to be the best. Bob has degrees in Electrical Technology and Business Administration.

  • Licensed as a Master Electrician in South Florida since1982, Bob proudly opened the doors of Excel Electrical Group in 1987.

    He is a state certified electrical contractor, which means he can can put up a ceiling fan or a sky scraper. He is an active member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, is a nationally certified electrical instructor, and is a volunteer member in the City of Coral Springs Unsafe Structures Board.

    keeps Excel abreast of the newest technologies and matters of code, keeping Excel at the forefront.

  Bob's priority is to make sure that all Excel team members give respect to each and every person they encounter through their daily activities. He demands the highest standards of quality in all aspects of the business. For this reason, Bob is highly respected and is consulted by other professionals, always happy to share his knowledge.

  • Harry Darman: Parts Manager

    "Whats going on?" Thats Harry's motto!! He has over 50 years of electrical experience. Of that 22 years in the field and the remainder in supply management. He's been Bob's right hand man for over 11 years. If you need a part, Harry can find it.

  • Laura Alexander: Office Manager

    Laura is the friendly voice of Excel. Laura joined our team in 2011. She comes to us from an extensive background in construcation and management. She is the glue that keeps things running smoothly. "I don't know, ASK LAURA!!" can be heard daily at Excel.

  • Gerri Aucone: Bookkeeper

    Making order from chaos, Gerri comes to us with 20+ years of accounting experience and is proficient in getting all accounts up to date and reconciled.

  • Annmarie Aucone: Assistant to Bob

    Annmarie joined us in 2012. She needs to wear a catcher's mitt just to keep up with all Bob throws at her. Pencil and pad in hand, she finishes what he starts and starts what he needs to finish. Annmarie gets things done.

  • Jennifer Salizar: Office Coordinator

    Jennifer joined Excel in 2011. She is the back up go to person that we rely on during the daily administrative functions of Excel.

  • John Alphonse: Lead Electrician/Journeyman (MA)

    John is our lead electrician and has over 13 years with Excel, coupled with an additional 10 years of field experience. John is in constant contact with the other electricians and leads the men in the field.

  • Tony Joseph: Electrician/Journeyman

    Tony is always instrumental in making sure that whatever job he is assigned gets done despite any obstacles he encounters. An over achiever, finished in the top of his class at ABCI where Bob was an Instructor. He is demanding and a perfectionist, both excellent qualities in an electrician. He has been with Excel for 10+ years.

  • Stephan Longworth: Electrician/Journeyman

    Stephan came to us as an apprentice in 2006 and was trained at Excel in all aspects of the Electrical Trade through the ABCI Training program and under the personal supervision of Mr. Messing. Stephan is a graduate of ABCI and a licensed Florida Journeyman. Motivated and a self-starter, he contributes ideas, always looking for new ways to keep Excel growing.

  • Bart Watkins: Electrician

    Bart is the newest addition to Excel, graduate of ABCI and was a classmate of Stephan's. He has a great attitude and is the man of choice on all projects when the other electricians need assistance.
